"Our family" includes this website's inspiration ~ our little Paddy girl!  [Of course, she is now an 80 pound GIANT Black Labrador Retriever who needs lots of pet supplies made in the United States!] 

We have always done our best to buy our family's supplies locally & from United States manufacturers.  Paddy joined our family at a time when many of the 'internationally made' toys our two sons were using were being recalled due to high levels of lead paint.  This made us wonder what types of regulations were in place for pet products & supplies if our children's toys aren't even being made globally with high enough "United States of America" standards.  We started looking for pet supplies which were Made in the United States and found it to be a big challenge.  Many of the large chain pet stores and online stores sell pet supplies which are readily available and the vast majority of those products are not MADE IN U.S.A.
